When it comes to brokers - there is no “one size fit’s all” but there are a few brokers out there who have tried to give it a shot. One of these brokers is ThinkorSwim (owned by Schwab). Over the years this broker has had a few different owners - although it really has not changed much (in appearance) since it was owned by the creator Tom Sosnoff.

This is a massive platform - offering users the choice to customize things in a way that few are prepared for. This post will focus on the development of you - your TOS platform and making it work for you. I have a series of videos that teach you various ways to customize things and how to add indicators, charts, watchlists, ect ect.

My goal - is not to make your TOS look like mine or function like mine - but instead my goal is to show you how to save your work, find the things you are interested in and to show you how to customize it - to help you make it unique to your needs.

Morning Briefing

I have two blog posts that do a good job explaining the process of the morning briefing; check them out here & here to understand that process. While I do this briefing each morning - my goal is to teach you a process - (mine) and encourage you to develop your own process as you grow into these concepts.

I look at the things relevant to me and what I trade; you’ll want to learn this and then adjust things to meet your needs. (For Example: I do my briefing early because I have things to do before the open - you may want to do your briefing closer to 9:30am).
